Re: REWIND TV
Sky channel 190. Schedule available at https://www.tvguide.co.uk/channel/rewind-tv
Re: REWIND TV
I haven't got Sky nor could afford to buy it right now (especially as I'm still collecting comic and am getting some new glasses), so I will have to wait and hope for when it eventually reached Freeview.
I had a glance at the website, and looked at the schedules, are some great stuff on there. I'd never seen that 80s series "Bust", but heard all about it and would love to see it again. That sitcom "The Cuckoo Waltz" has never been on any Freeview as far as I know, and nor repeated on terestial Tv since the 1980s so I'd be interested to see that again.

Re: REWIND TV
I see online today that Rewind TV has applied for a freeview slot. They always intended to.

Re: REWIND TV
I never watched Hazell when it was first show but watched the reruns on TPTV and enjoyed it immensely. Looking forward to them showing it again. Same goes for Special Branch which was the first time the line "Get your trousers on, you're nicked" was first heard. Spoken by Patrick Mower. Everyone attributes it to Regan in the Sweeney.

Re: REWIND TV
Looks like 18 September is when Rewind joins Freeview. They've put up an Oasis style date in a box on X. They're going to show the Zoo Gang too which I've never seen.
Re: REWIND TV
Firstly, I'm sorry that I posted about this as a freeview channel but an honest mistake.stevezodiac wrote: ↑30 Aug 2024, 09:36Looks like 18 September is when Rewind joins Freeview. They've put up an Oasis style date in a box on X. They're going to show the Zoo Gang too which I've never seen.
Secondly, I'm delighted that in September it will be.
It's a great channel,I watched Dick Turpin tonight,a show that I haven't seen repeated on any other channel.
And I also have never seen the Zoo Gang and look forward to it,as it stars Barry Morse from Space 1999 and The Fugitive.
Re: REWIND TV
Does anyone know which number on Freeview the Rewind Channel is going to be on? Can't wait.
I was also interested to notice some episodes of "Hancock" are being shown, which I presume are the series he did on for ATV, on ITV. I have seen a couple of these on you tube, and OK it's not Hancock at his best , and looking very dishevelled in the middle of his downward spiral and getting impossible to work with, but these are still amusing and interesting to watch. Notable that a few of these episodes were written by future cult Tv sci-fi writers Dennis Spooner and Terry Nation; TH once commented to the latter about pepper pots what can move around, giving nation an idea shortly after for alien creatures in early Doctor Who. Exterminate!

Re: REWIND TV
Channel 95.
Here in London local channel London Live is showing some Spaghetti westerns including The Mercenary with Franco Nero, The Grand Duel with Lee Van Cleef and one of my favourites My Name is Nobody with Terence Hill and Henry Fonda. Saw it at the cinema when it was first released. I got the soundtracks for all three (and loads more) in the 1970s and still have them.
