Well unless you have watched this in previous years or have the video or DVD you may not know that this was the first DR Who story, as the son of the writer has refused to allow it to be shown on BBCiplayer and anywhere else.
Reasons???
Well Steff Coburn first stated that his Dad was badly treated by the BBC.
He has since said that the show is "immoral", his reasoning being having a woman and a black man play the Doctor.
My only thoughts on this are that the very first Doctor, William Hartnell, was the son of an unmarried Mother ,father unknown.
That was a problem with establishment at the time ,it was seen as a sin.
Therefore Steffs' moral /religous ??? argument appears spurious to me.
Just my personal view, feel free to disagree.
