Eagle: What issues did the David Livingstone stories appear?

I have just received this Email from someone trying to establish which issues the David Livingstone stories appeared in the original Eagle comic. Can anyone assist in narrowing down the years for her?

Hello there.
On a recent visit to the Highlands Museum of Childhood, I was delighted by their display of old comics. One of them ? an Eagle from 26th July 1957 ? featured part of a serialised story of David Livingstone the Victorian explorer & missionary. I am really trying to get hold of copies of any editions of the Eagle comic that included part of this story. This quest would be greatly eased if I knew the dates from which the David Livingstone story ran from and to. Could you enlighten me on this? Or if not, could you put me in touch with anyone who could?

Hi Al, The David Livingstone strip 'The Great Explorer' appeared on the back page of Eagle from Vol 8 No12 to Vol 8 No39 between Mar and Sept 1957 a total of 28 episodes written by Chad Varah and illustrated by Peter Jackson.
