STORY 2
"STANS' SUSPENSION"
ISSUES 34-37 (1971)

In a rush to get to his date with Ethel, Stan is spotted speeding by the police who issue a friendly warning to the depot.
Blakey uses it as an excuse to have Stan suspended.

Later, Mum is serving up bangers and mash to Arthur and Olive but gives Stan bread and dripping as he is unemployed.

This second story in the strip series captures the characters extremely well and is genuinely funny.
