FOLLYFOOT:THE LOOK IN STRIPS CHRONOLOGY

Post by jim244 »

STORY 1:
ISSUES 27-33 (1971)
WRITER:ANGUS P ALLAN
ARTIST:MIKE NOBLE
"Dancer"

Framed by the Hammonds of Pinecrest,Steve is due to be tried for stealing "Tango",a horse he actually found tethered to the gates of Follyfoot Farm. His only chance is to find the real owner, circus groom Ted Wilson.
Dora will prove Steves' innocence.

The first thing I noticed about this strip was that the art was spread over the two pages and was so Mike Noble of TV Century 21.
It's a cleverly scripted tale but the art is incredible and I now forgive Noble for leaving Timeslip.

An excellent 3 parter,Mike didn't draw this one and I don't know who did.
Great artist though,whoever he was/is.
Another excellent strip in the Follyfoot saga.
Rebellion should release these as complete strip collections.
