A six part TV series that I have never seen.
In 1770 a ship arrives, crashing into the rocks of Dead Eye.
It has been lured to its' doom by the deceiving light of the wreckers.
They make a profit out of organized disasters.
Network released this on DVD.
The Look-in strip runs from issue 1 -issue 7 (1971).
Artist,writer...No idea.

Re: Wreckers at Dead Eye
I'd never heard of the said series until I chanced upon a Network DVD of the series at a car boot sale.
Whilst I'm not a big historical drama fan, I thoroughly enjoyed the series. Was shown in 1970, and had the slightly more aggressive horn ending jingle for Thames TV logo at that time.
Strip for the series is very well drawn and written. Impressive.
A true forgotten quality kids' TV series.

I agree the strip is quite good but I don't actually possess part 1...
The strip ran from issue 1-7 (1971) and although I have those issues, part 1 was printed on page 14 and that was part of the centrefold magpie build a studio free gift!!
I don't have that so have just read parts 2-7.
