As my next self-inflicted article is on Heinz Falken's penal battalion, Hanko and the other assorted characters of this series, I wonder if anyone else has fond memories of this series and whether it influenced them in life decisions once they were all 'growed up'! I have just browsed through the series as it appeared in Warlord and it still stands out as a rock solid series. Congratulations to Alan Hemus for writing one of the best post-war stories IMHO about life in the Third Reich for the common soldier. If anyone wishes to make a comment, then either PM me or leave their views on this thread if they are happy for others to see their comments. I do promise at least one surprise revelation in the article when it appears in Crikey!
