Flying 'scooters' - which comic?

In the late 70s, possibly early 80s I used to read a comic which had a story featuring characters riding, what I can best describe as 'flying scooters'.
One set of characters had a more modern version which remind me of a basic mobility scooter and the other characters a basic version which reminds me of a child scooter.
Does this mean anything to anyone?
