I am really enjoying the series (for a 25 year old thats not bad) I think the characters are spot on although I still have reservations about the new pieface.

The opening titles remind me of the Dennis the Menace annual 1966 were Dennis has a few pages split across the annual in which hes trying out different jobs, Dennis the Painter is the one that sprung to mind, with the limited use of colour and the frantic running around thats portrayed in the comic and on screen

The Colonel is much better hes like an evil version of the major from fawlty towers!

Im looking forward to seeing the finished version of the one that Euan Kerr showed me in his office, I remember some very clever and funny scripting in which Dad's boss kept forgetting his name which is much better than being called 'dennis's dad' I remember Gnasher swallowing a canister of somekind and Dennis being caught up in an important meeting under the table at Dads work desperate to hide!

5 episode in anyone else enjoying it as much as me?

Euan Kerr showed me is episode when I saw the offices last year, it was in anamatic form though and it was the bit when he was under the table, I seem to remember the 'whatsisname' bit being a great way around the name problem. Anyone else seen his episode? What did you think?

Doesn't Mr Burns continually forget Homer's name in The Simpsons too?

Yeah, it's a running gag, a particularly good example is in Who Shot Mr Burns Part 1, where Homer graffitis My Name is Homer S... (trails off because he's caught red handed) on Mr Burns's office wall. His response? "Who are you?"

I like the name gag due to the way hes not called 'dad' which never sat right to me in the old tv series, mum and dad call each other dear and his boss calls him whatsisname which is clever self observational writing in my mind

The Simpsons add smithers describing homer which is also funny! 'one of your dunderheads from sector 7G' Dennis's Dad seems to share a few Homer Simpson traits in this series

Good news Digifiend, I checked the website and there are 52 episodes in this series.

I also found this http://www.redkite-animation.com/index.php?page=marvo Looks like the Marvo the Wonder chicken episodes are coming along nicely! These will only be 90 seconds each which, in my opinion, wouldn't ruin any of the originals quick fire charm.

It was already established that they were only showing half the series at the moment though. The rest will probably air after Christmas. We've had 22 so far with 30 still to come.

I caught the camping episode and it wasn't too bad. It fits well enough, but it's more like Dennis the Naughty Schoolkid rather than Dennis The Menace.
I started to say something sensible but my parents took over my brain!
