There was a kid on our street (in 1968) who had it bad for `Bully Beef's` mom!

If I remember correctly, Beefy's mum looked just like him!

Poor kid!
Reading comics since 1969. My comics are: The Dandy Xtreme (since 1969), 2000AD (since 1977), Judge Dredd Megazine (since 1990) and Spaceship Away (since 2003).

I quite liked Julie from "The Sparky People" (I was 14 then-that's my excuse, and i'm stuck with it) there was a `White Plains` song in 1970 "Julie Do Ya Love Me?" reminded me of that character! Just off for my treatment now!

I liked the blonde babes in The Cloak (Shady Lady?) and The Man From Bungle. Incidentally Baby Whamster and Baby Smasher remind me of Cuddles and Dimples. Everything has been done before somewhere - just listen to any Oasis album.

Speaking of the Cloak was thrilled to see Mike Higgs at the comic mart on Sunday. Graham Bleathman was also there.

I.P.C When taking over "Smash" comic in March 69, made their greatest blunder by dropping `The Cloak` strip.
