I haven't seen my order from DCT yet but not too "bovvered" since I have picked up a couple from various shops.

I loved the Freddie strip as well. :D

Thanks N.P for putting that `Beatles` link on! I just couldn't get a picture of `Life-Lines` from my NMe on this site! Interesting about the chart talk ("Please Please Me") in that Nigel Parkinson is using (i'm happy to see!) data from my `Chart History` articles that are on many sites now!

Back to final Dandy- I also have the previous two and loved the Cover on antipenultimate as it was a copy of cover of 1967 Dandy book - plus! There was a good `Puss and Boots` strip inside.

I'm still in the dark as to who drew the Freddie strip - and the Black Bob and Talking Ball strips

Black Bob and The Talking Ball were both by Wayne Thompson - no doubt about it!
Freddy the Fearless Fly I believe is by Gary Boller - I'll ask him on Facebook!

DC Thomson sent me ANOTHER copy of the last Dandy this morning, and I know at least one other person who's had one as well.

Reckon it's a final "Cheers" from them, to be used as Xmas presents or something? Has anyone else received another one out of the blue?

I still haven't received my copy :( Unless my mum's taken it into hiding until Christmas! One more week to find out.

I found a copy in McColls in the St James Centre, Edinburgh on Saturday.
Like MadGaz, I could have got a copy from McShane but he's in the dog house right now. Plan B Books is a great wee shop, isn't it?

Does anyone know if there is a way of identifying the first and second prints of the final issue or do they appear identical?

did anyone get the `75 years` special too? that one also had facsimile of first ever Dandy inside!

With the `final` Dandy- I was hoping that `Spunky and his Spider` and `Constable Big-Ears` might have got in, but alas! no!

My copy finally turned up last Saturday...and I visited my local WH Smiths today and they had a whole load of them on the rack (they had silver foil on the cover though, probably a 2nd print I presume).
