Anyone a collector of Marvel UK's Overkill comics? I've started a covers gallery but would love to add details of who the cover artists are, thanks!

Back to the 1950s now with more Dan Dare tat/merchandise - this time i's the 'Dan Dare interplanetary dominoes' set. As ever the packaging is more impressive than the contents.

Alan Moore's doing a virtual book launch (he'll be dialling in rather than attending in person) for his 'bumper book of magic'

One for all you Billy Bunter fans out there...'The Charles Hamilton companion' - at least 9 volumes produced but maybe there were more? Would love to collect stuff like this but there's a limit to how much stuff I can squeeze into my house, ha ha.

Fascinating and I hate to admit this but I wasn't even aware of a Dan Dare cartoon ever being on TV.
Do you know if it's available on DVD Richard?

Fantastic to see these, apparently Hamilton is recognised as being the most prolific author in history.

Hi Jim,
some of the episodes are available on DVD but not all of them. There was a single DVD produced (this had 3 stories on it) and there was a double DVD produced (this had 6 stories on it). There were (I think!) 22 episodes in total - a mix of standalone episodes and 2-parters.

cheers
Richard

veteran illustrator Eric Parker continues his travels around the UK - some of these images would fit seamlessly into a Sexton Blake adventure

Many thanks Richard.
After reading this post earlier today, I found both the single and double DVD on ebay but it was confusing as when looking at details they were all the same minutes in duration so rather than spend £25 I got the single DVD for a bargain £2.98 !!
I will report back as to contents when I receive it.
Cheers
