BRILLIANT and completely bizzare.
Was this the first example of transfers being used for a comic/tv/film character??
I had always believed that the transfer craze had began years later in the sixties.

I was too young for TV21 but got the annuals at school fete sales in the mid seventies.
I was entranced by BBC2 reshowing Thunderbirds in the nineties and despite being in my early twenties did buy the mags, Thunderbirds being swiftly followed by Stingray, then Captain Scarlet ,then Joe 90 ,then everything was incorporated in Thunderbirds Monthly (or whatever it was called...lol I should know as have most of them re-purchased from Ebay).
My point is....I recollect viewing the fantastic art by Mike here and great to see it here.
As different as it was,I believe that Look-in succeeded TV21 as the natural continuation and when you consider editors and writers and artists,
I'm right.
