Does anyone have any info or examples of work of this artist, who I'm told, did a lot of work for DC Thomson?

If it's any help he also did a lot of children's books illustrations (the Jennings books and Enid Blyton adventures for example).

You'll probably find second hand books that he's illustrated up on amazon.co.uk, maybe with cover photos, if you search for him by name...
