E-Numbers

Post by Da Gamer »

Well I was just watching a television programme on the BBC all about E-numbers and it turns out that they are not as bad as people tend to think they are, although some may come from unusual sources. What do you think about e-numbers?

To be fair, Chris, this is the Non-comics discussion forum. Of course, what we can't know is whether Da Gamer actually watched the programme or simply read the description of the programme in the Radio Times. Unlike Salvador Dali, the ends of whose moustache he considered to be spiritual antennae, and which pointed upwards to enable him to tune in to the good vibrations, mine point downwards sniffing out the cheaters, liars, outlaws and fallen angels, as expressed so potently by Mary Gauthier (pronounced go-shay) in the brilliant Camelot Motel from her album Filth And Fire. What mine have contacted, it seems, is a sense of p*ss-taking pointlessness across Da Gamer's posts, which is almost identical to what they confidently identified across a similar range of posts from Serai. I am prepared to be persuaded that my antennae are picking up the wrong signals but it is De Gamer's responsibility to prove his bona fides, preferably by a series of knowledgeable and purposeful contributions to two or three of the comic-based threads on our site. Heaven knows there are enough of them for him to choose from. Until that time I'm with Chris and steelclaw. I'm sure we all feel that a forum with such knowledgeable and committed enthusiasts as Tony Ingram, Kashgar, Steve Zodiac, Lew Stringer, Peter Gray, Digifiend and Phil Rushton et al can do without chancers who have no interest whatsoever in our hobby. Our jury is very definitely out.
