Good isn't it? And it's not every day there's a faithful movie version of a UK comic book...
Is it weird to have no interest in keeping or collecting free gifts?

It's got lots of good bits certainly, but on the whole I didn't think it worked anything like as well as the original.

Incidentally, did you know that the director Stephen Frears was the original man with "sticky-out ears" in Lily the Pink? :)

Well, let's face it, the film's NEVER as good as the book, is it? At least in a cinema audience we can laugh out loud in unison at the genius of Posy Simmonds rather than quietly to ourselves at home.
