Thought I'd show the progress in these small steps..
The wings at the bottom will be lengthened as I realise I've made them too small..
The way I draw I often rub out...can't bear working it out properly..like drawing straight off..
Also debating what kind of background whether to do a rainbow?
Everyone does Owls with full moons..just trying to be different.

Oops, by some bizzare oversight my reply to you, Peter, got posted before the picture I was commenting on. Does Guildford exist in some cosmic time-warp, or what? Please see the entry before last.
Thanks Phil..once its finished I'll put it up again...done some more just now..another half hour..just added the wet brush to the Owl..which will then need my pencil to tidy it up..water goes every where..maybe get some white paint to get the white back on some of it..
Nearly there..last bits of details to add..
The reason its takiing so long than normal is I'm doing blog posts on the process of creating a picture and scanning it every half hour..which when I stop makes me leave it for another day..it sure disrupts the flow..also I'm trying to sort out my C.V and busy trying to get a part time job to support my art business..going to get experience on the till as a volunteer at a charity shop...good news my cards are selling a few at a day at Chichester Kim's Bookshop after the first two weeks...phew!!

Thinking back, I probably didn't do anything for 'Score 'n Roar' as a separate title. Certainly none of the stories from issue 1 that you list ring any bells with me. I did do a few fill in issues of 'Nipper', but that might have been when it amalgamated with 'Scorcher'. It didn't last long as a stand-alone title, did it? Sorry I can't be more precise, but that period was a bit of a blur for me, I was doing so many different things, doing drama with lifers in our local Prison, directing in a Norwich theatre, as well as keeping my comic work going! Life is a lot quieter now!
