You've made a good start with the Harry Hill page. I made a slight edit to it, mentioning that his strip started when the Dandy was revamped (I think this is important because he has been the comic's figurehead since the revamp last October).

Could anyone please help me by adding suitable images to the Calamity James and Tim Traveller pages on the Comic Wiki?

Here are the relevant links:

I made a few Wikipedia pages but I need some help on expanding them.

I made:

Pre-Skool Prime Minister: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pre-Skool_Prime_Minister
Arena of Awesome: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Arena_of_Awesome
Little Celebs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Celebs
Simples: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/101_Ways_to_Use_a_Meerkat

If you have any more information you wish to add, please do. :)

Changed it to mention that it started with last October's revamp, and that the title implies that there was 101 episodes (instead of that there will be, which is out of date). Also removed notability warnings which were apparently restored when you undid the redirect.

Again, added when it started. Slight rewording. Removed "next week" - never use phrases like this, they become quickly outdated. Maybe the exact dates for each strip could be added? Also, I've removed the bracketing and just linked the names, adding the link for Big Brother.

Can someone add some references to Alexander Matthews' Wikipedia page? I typed out loads of stuff then it got deleted because I apparently 'shouldn't edit pages that will be deleted', anyway if you can help: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Matthews

Alexander sent me a reference, how do you add it?!: http://www.prospectmagazine.co.uk/2009/ ... #more-6069

Restored your content and added the reference. To see what I did, try editing it again, you'll see the code I used. If it gets reverted again, check the History tab. I strongly recommend that you set up an account on Wikipedia, if you're logged in, your edits are less likely to be mistaken for vandalism and reverted.

The Dennis the Menace (beano character) article i was just reading had the most terrible and obvious errors.

Firstly it states Dennis was in the first Beano Annual in 1956 when the first beano annual was the 1940 edition and 1955was actually when the first Dennis annual came out so itwas the 1956 edition. I fixed that now.

Also it gives two contradictory dates for the formation of Dennis the Menace fan club 1974 and 1976 it also talked about the same thing twice. i have no idea which is true so i just deleted the bit giving the later date. Does anyone know the real date it started?

Would it not have made more sense, Tin Can, to wait until you actually knew the correct date before arbitrarily deleting one of them? If you have deleted the actual starting date, anybody accessing that Wikipedia entry before you get round to reinstating it will go away with misleading data, which is not what the Wikipedia is there for.

Why not split the difference and call it 1975.

I was just on Wikipedia, and I was sorting out some articles but when I looked at the Dennis the Menace article, I was shocked.

The article has been trivialised, with far too much attention given to the details of individual strips along with bizarre attempts to read into Dennis' personality and traits. Some of the claims are wrong, as for instance it states that David Parkins retired in 2006 - well, we know he moved to Canada that year, so he didn't 'retire' as such, and he hadn't been drawing Dennis regularly since 2003 anyway, and it also says that in 2009 'it was decided the character should be relaunched'. I think that decision was taken in 2007, and was a result of the upcoming TV series rather than any failings of the strip as it was.

What I find worst of all, though, is that Jimmy Hansen doesn't get mentioned in the article at all, with Nigel Parkinson only getting a passing mention (as understudy to Tom Paterson - also wrong, Nigel was the regular Sixty Second Dennis artist, Tom barely drew Dennis after the revamp). Not crediting a ghost artist is one thing, and acceptable in my opinion, but not giving Jimmy and Nigel their dues is wrong because for a few years they shared the strip, and drew it very well too.

I'm sorry I've had to have this rant, but I think the Beano's longest running and most successful character deserves a better Wiki article than this. Does anyone know how you can revert an article to an earlier version?

My goodness, just went to have a look at the Dennis Wikipedia Article and look at this:
Dennis is the archetypal badly-behaved schoolboy. The main recurring storyline throughout the years features his campaign of terror against a gang of 'softies' (effeminate, well-behaved boys), particularly spoiled transvestite Walter. Walter finds himself in unfavourable circumstances on many occasions, although he sometimes gets the "last laugh".
Erm... Who on Earth did that? I know Walter can be classed as camp I suppose but transvestite means he wears women's clothing. As far as I know women aren't usually seen wearing bow ties...
