Will Desperate Dan finally change in the next Annual?

Now that the Dandy comic has been revamped, do you think that next year's annual will fully embrace the comic's new style (namely Desperate Dan)?

Despite Dan being drawn by Jamie in the comic for a number of years now, Dan is still drawn the 'old' way by NP (and very nicely too) in the annual.

I could possibly understand that while the comic was still 'Xtreme' and so had a slightly different identity to the annual (possibly the annual was also aimed at a wider audience e.g. adults?). But now all that has changed, would I be wrong to suspect that the annual will follow suit and all the characters appearing next year will be drawn in the styles shown in the comic?

Jamie's Dan appeared as well. But yeah, the version on the cover (and to a lesser degree in the interior strips drawn by Nigel) was clearly based on Ken Harrison's version.

The 2012 annual will probably be a mix of old and new, I'm sure some material would've been drawn already before they decided to do the revamp.

One thing I am wondering is whether the celeb parodies and jokes will appear in next year's annual, including of course the Harry Hill strip.

They do prepare some material well in advance though. He's a few obvious examples:
1. Beano Books have included the SOS Squad, Minder Bird, and Camp Cosmos, three strips which didn't win a comic idol poll.
2. The Banana Bunch in the 2005 Dandy Annual - intended for a 2004 Beezer Annual that was never published.
3. One of the Beryl the Peril strips in the 2010 Dandy Annual was also in the 2009 edition, so I believe all the Beryls in those two were drawn at about the same time, and stockpiled.
4. The 2006 Dandy Annual doesn't fully reflect the 2004 revamp - Desperate Dan still has his 1983-2004 look, The Comet is included, Fiddle 'o' Diddle is present. The latter two both haven't appeared since.
5. The 2009 Dandy Annual doesn't fully reflect the 2007 revamp either. Korky is still present, as is Beryl the Peril (who still appeared until 2010 despite being axed from the comic when it became Xtreme). Winker Watson, another axed character, is also included. Desperate Dan is still Ken Harrison's 2004-7 version. The only Xtreme era characters to appear are those that debuted before the revamp (Jak, Ollie Fliptrik, Owen Goal, Cuddles and Dimples, Dan, Bananaman).

I find this stuff interesting.Why did the Banana Bunch change in 2004, incorporating, Mitzy and Titch, and radically changing Brainy? And Desperate Dan was drawn by Jamie Smart in the 2010 Annual. In the last two ones, he's been drawn by Nigel Parkinson, who'se version i find a bit boring, and not as eye-catching as Smart's or Harrison's.

I know that, but Brainy changed from having big black hair to being balding, and Mitzy was definitely not there even then. Not sure about titch.
