Peter Gray's real love and affection for UK comics marks him out as being one of the most committed and enthusiastic comics fan within the entire British Isles-----

I appreciate some facets of British comics, but I doubt if I truly love almost all UK comics as much as Mr Gray does.

You're a true enthusiast Peter, and that's a good attitude to have.

I agree with eveyone one if there was an award for enthusiasm and passion for british comics Peter would win hands down.

By the way my wife is totally bemused by my hobby but reckons I could be
doing worse things so she puts up with my comics and books being giving
pride of place.

My late Mum, God bless her strangely was one of the few adults out there who thought it was quite normal for her grown up son to still love comics and she faithfully bought me "the Broons/Oor Wullie evey christmas.

On a different note good luck Lew with the your Dandy strip.

Thanks wilsa.

My Mam has always been ok with my comics enthusiasm too. I always take her copies of the comics I'm in for her to read. Over the years she's read everything I've done, except for the Viz stuff.

She's 87 now and I'm her carer. Which reminds me, must dash off and do her lunch. :-) (She literally lives just around the corner.)

Would like to add my tuppence worth to this thread - found Peter's site while on a Tom Paterson/Ken Reid surf and was just in awe of all the lovely scans to be found there.

A fantastic piece of work by a guy who seems informative and a real gentleman!

Hats off to you sir!

:D

Ps My best to you and your mum too Lew - she must be very proud
