So it was based on the TV series. Thanks for the scans and clearing that query up Hornet.

I hope it's page count was double what it's Beano and Dandy contemporaries had (38p for 24 pages, starting from the 8 October 1994 issues, 35p prior), as at 85p, Hurricanes was more than double the price per issue (though only 9p more a fortnight).

How long did it run for anyway? And come to think of it, was this DCT's first licensed title?

It had 32 pages!

Licensed by DCT two years earlier was Bucky O'Hare. Here is a scan of issue 3's cover.

Last issue drawn by some guy in September 1994.

That 'guy' certainly did get around! (not to mention his inevitable guest appearance in next week's 'Dennis the Menace'). :)

Bucky O' Hare was a great cartoon! Was the comic new material, or just American reprints?

Just met my mate Steve who handed me four bags of what must be 200 Thomson women's story papers like Secrets and Red Letter. I'll look at them later after the football. He is downsizing his collection a bit and doesn't really want women's magazines. I'm hoping to see some nice house ads for the Thomson comics.

I hope you're not expecting three points today, Steve. Of course, you might get them, but I would hate to think that you are automatically expecting them just because Bolton are having a c**p season. We've been getting quite good at drawing games recently though, so would you settle for a point apiece?

I'm thinking of starting a subtle indoctrination process about Bolton with Aurora this coming weekend while her mother's getting blad.., er, having a happy time in Bognor. By the time she gets back I should at least have Aurora singing We are the one and only Wanderers. I can't have her growing up supporting her local teams. I mean they are Fulham and Chelsea, for heavens sake. I might just be on a bit of a loser though. The family parrot's called Arsenal!!!!!!!

Before you think I've lost my marbles, Steve, I've just discovered, after turning on Wanderers Player to listen to the commentary on the Bolton v Millwall game, that we are actually playing Bournemouth at Dean Court. The Guardian have printed the wrong fixtures for the Championship today, all the other leagues are accurate. I think we must have played you last week! Did we get a point each? :D

Thanks, Digi. The Guardian's spelling mistakes are legendary, which is why it is often referred to as The Grauniad, but they've broken new ground with this. I can only imagine how annoyed I would have been if I'd driven over to the Reebok to watch the match.

Not sure if I can class it as a comic, but I did get Cosmos Vol 8 No 1 today.
