Just picked up the Post. Wor Nicky is again taking up almost a full page, so that's three pages of comic strips shared amongst the six page 'Puzzles' section. Pity they don't add another couple of pages to make an 8 page centre pull out that'd be handier to read, (and an incentive to collect) instead of placing those 6 pages two thirds of the way into the paper. However, great to see a new weekly Ken Harrison strip!

Wor Nicky seems pretty eager to unbutton her uniform, doesn't she? The top half last week and a long, shapely thigh displayed this week. I can't wait to see what she will reveal next week.

I wonder if we'll see a Wor Nicky book every other year? Didn't get the Post today as I have been taking strong painkillers that have turned me into a zombie. Stopped taking them now. But my mouth still doesn't work properly.

Forgot about The Sunday Post last Sunday, I will try to remember next weekend.

However, definitely would be interested in buying the first Wor Nicky annual. It would be a collector's item if nowt else.

Further to my last post here I was admitted to hospital on the 13th with a rare illness called Guillain Barre Syndrome and only came home last night. I didn't sleep for ten nights due to agonizing pain and even strong painkillers and sleeping pills ha d no effect. Back at home now and getting slowly better. It means I missed last week's Sunday Post and i'm not sure I'll have the strength to go out tomorrow. Didn't eat at all either so am now a bit thinner.

That's terrible news Steve. I've just had to google what that condition is and it sounds absolutely excruciatingly painful. It appears that the treatment is Supportive Care. I hope you're getting that.

Really sorry to hear about it and a speedy recovery.

I'm still here. Still in pain though and haven't been out as am unsteady on my feet. Haven't been to bed for over a fortnight as lying down makes it more painful. Looking forward to a pint of beer when its all over. Mum and sister are looking after me. I'm a stone lighter now so less of a forum member than i once was. One of the symptoms is my face has frozen so i can't smile and chewing food is difficult as mouth won't work and speech is slurred. I look like a drunk without the benefit of imbibing.
