Of course i am not familiar with all adaptations of Peter Pan as there must be a 100 in Britain alone.
However, i did manage to obtain half a dozen illustrated Disney Peter Pan books from the 1950s, mainly from the UK.
Is the last scan from a real book, not a comic book?
Outside Disney i am (and my friend ms. Zeynep is) a big fan of the Fox TV series "Peter Pan and the Pirates" from around 1990.
In Britain 3 comics based on this series were distributed, more in Germany.
I do include the only scan of an UK comic book that i have. Of course i own the other 2 too but no scans.

The second Captain Hook scan was taken from the educational magazine Look & Learn - a companion title to Treasure that was printed in the same format, but for older children.

One of my favourite illustrated versions of Peter Pan from recent years was the one produced by Anne Grahame-Johnstone (a British illustrator who worked on a number of children's comics with her sister Janet). I assume you are already familiar with this Jehan?

No, i do not think i know this one.
I have been collecting Peter Pan for a couple of years and i have mainly concentrated at 1) the Disney version, especially those of the 1950s but also the ill fated "Peter Pan Return to Neverland" as well as the delightful "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" because it is a favourite of my little niece Yazy. Furthermore I located some Disney sketches of around 1944, 2) Fox' version of PP and 3) anything about PP that caught my fancy such as "Treasure".
In addition i am a big fan of the Japanese anime TV series "Peter Pan no Bo(u)ken" of which no publications exist apart from an Italian sticker album as well as several live action versions, especially that of 2003.
To show my omnivorous tendencies i am posting one or two of the Van Gool adaptation.
Nevertheless i shun the out of character comic books such as Peter as a vampire, Peter grown up fighting in World War II and more of such nonsense. The worst in my opinion is the "Once upon a Time" character who appears to be an incarnation of the Erlkönig with all the dreadful implications; they kill him off too.

Hi folks
I have a problem
Lately i bought a set of exceedingly pretty porcelain figurines, called "feves".
However these depict a totally unknown comic version of Peter Pan.
No information could be found.
Except that the girl is called Mary (Mary Darling, Wendy's mother?).
The set is French but does not depict Loisel's interpretation, which i dislike.
Could anybody help?

Well folks, i managed to locate the origin of the feves.
There exist several editions of the book of which i located a Dutch translation that just might be shortened
The original picture book -not a comic book- stems from Italy.
I already suspected it because the drawing style looked like the Italian Peter Pan Joy books.
And i just bought another French edition which appears to contain more illustrations.
The style ressembles Super Mario.
Two scans are enclosed so you can spot the ressemblance..

I just got the German translation of the above mentioned Peter Pan book.
The original edition was published in 1993 in Italy.
The illustrations are by Claudio Cernuschi and Maria De Filippo.
And it turns out the winged baby is not Michael but Peter Pan as a newborn!
Enclosed are scans of my copy and that of a mini edition.

There exist a number of comic adaptations of Disney's Peter Pan movie:
1. The newspaper version. Very popular in France and luxuriously reprinted in Italy in 1999.
2. The short comic book version printed in the regular Peter Pan comics by Dell and Gold Key
3. The long comic book version originally appearing in Dell Giant `Peter Pan´s Treasure Chest`
4. A modern comic book version of which an UK edition exists
5. The version in Mickey Mouse Weekly April 4 till September 19, 1953
6. The strange oblong UK booklet i showed you before
To make things difficult hybrid editions of 2 and 3 do exist...
As far as i know 5 and 6 have never been reprinted..
I have not even heard of Harold Hare~
Is it a true comic book version or just a picture book?
Being Continental i do not know that much about British mags..

I certainly hope the artist was mainly influenced by Barrie
For i think the late Loisel went too far.
Neverland can be a dangerous place, a kind of Edwardian Avalon.
But not as rotten as Loisel portrayed it.
