It works out at £1.50 a comic which seems reasonable to me for 30 year old comics. However his comment about loose covers would put some off I think, and the fact he's only posted one photo.

Plus his listing ends on a weekday when most people are at work.

I always look for listings finishing during the day as working from home, I have an advantage! Just looked up transformers comics and the set of 300+ recently sold for around 50p each (£165) so not as outlandish as I thought.

a lot of people use their phones now to check listings at work etc i assume i always use phone more than laptop now for ebay.

For a few years, one E.Bay seller has tried to sell a 1965 edition of `Beezer` with its `Spinner` free gift at almost £300. He has finally reduced it to £185. Some sellers will really persist on trying for high as price as possible!

they have rejected my offers before as well even though its only been £1 or £2 less than asking price.,there must be a lot of desperate mugs out there or they make so much money they can afford to keep hold of stuff

So have I, and so am I. A friend of mine in the Wirral has been interested in an issue of The Skipper that they have been advertising for a couple of years, not because he wants to buy it but because he wants to see how long it will take before they reduce the price to a more realistic level. It has not dropped even one penny in that time. The names Hannah and Zoe by the way are the Christian names of the couple's two daughters. They may have to wait quite a while though for their new summer outfits or their ballet classes!
