Nobody posted on any of the forums yesterday. Has this ever happened before?

Not that I can ever remember.

Even on Christmas Day, somebody usually posts.......

Maybe just a 'slow news' day.

It's happened quite a few times over the years. And I suggest the best way to check if there have been any new posts is to use the View new posts button up and to the right of the screen.

However, I can confirm that at least one person did post on the site yesterday.

On Friday, we had two posts from Adam Eterno and one from myself. All three were on the Commando Comic Swap thread in the Buying, Selling and Swapping Forum.

I thought I was feeling drained on Friday evening. It took such an effort to post 66.66% of the whole site's posts all on my own!! :notworthy:

I don't know about Friday but on Saturday the whole country would have been glued to their tvs and radios to see if Millwall achieved promotion at Wembley. Or not. Only 1% of our fans invaded the pitch - the press overreacts as usual.

Also with the nice weather I expect a lot of people were out hithering and thithering. I myself went to "hell on earth" yesterday - AKA Peckham High Street. There is a Morisons there which is the only place that sells Mild Beer.

Brown and Mild was a staple drink of dockers here in Rotherhithe long ago when Surrey Docks was thriving.

Known as a Boilermaker and my Dad's favourite when I was a kid. I'm pretty sure it was the first alcoholic drink I ever tasted in 1971/2 ish. Couldn't stand it but didn't let my Dad know!

I am fairly certain that most of the country had better things to think about. I, for instance, put up a shelf!

Blessed are they who have nothing to say etc.

For me while I'm not coming across any comics I want to buy at the moment it's back to reading and computer games, for as the line of that famous poem said
"Play up!Play up!and Play the game!"
Not sure who wrote it , it may have been Tom Bola. :D
