Beano and Dandy Editors Query
Does anybody here know who edited the Beano between 1941 and 1946 when George Moonie was fighting in World War II, and the Dandy from 1940 - 1946 when Albert Barnes was off fighting too?

Hi George. The two main wartime editors were Adventure editor Stuart Gilchrist on the Beano and Rover editor John Low, younger brother of RD on the Dandy.

They should have sent Desperate Dan into Nazi-occupied Europe!
Re: Beano and Dandy Editors Query
Dan certainly did his bit Rab, especially early on, when he had a whole series of conflicts with Hitler and Goering.

He was as was John Hutton the Dandy chief sub who wrote pretty well all of the Korky the Cat strips but who is the guy who took Korky off the front page for one week and replaced him with Keyhole Kate!
