I got mine in Lincoln!!

It's not with the comics, it's with the football magazines. In amongst the "kids football" magazines like Shoot!

God only knows where the Battle one is going to end up, will it be the comic section, the "Military Modeller" &c section, or will it be put in the sports section as it "replaces" the Roy one?

Just spoken to the eldest and she has been good enough to pre-order the next one, which I believe is Battle and have just found out that it's going to be a tenner!! That will certainly put off a lot of casual purchases. Just hope that it's going to be a bumper issue. It'd better be at that price.

That's a bit bizarre cos the Egmont Press release said they'd all be £3.99. I'm hoping the Buster isn't ridiculously expensive when that's out in September.

It would be better and make more sense if they were much thicker volumes - especially when covering long running comics. But at ten pounds, if that's right, they really better had be a lot thicker. (DC Showcase Presents size would be fine, thanks!)

Do you think it might be this Battle, the one that was going to be published months ago, maybe egmont changed thier mind about publishing it to make it one of the monthlies or specials or what ever they are.

According to Egmonts own site these classic comics reprints are all priced at £3.99 and as they still note this on their front page and in their special press release section I would be surprised if Battle or any other one of these books is now £10 - I doubt if many folk would buy would buy that.

They are two different, separate publications. The Egmont Classics Comics Battle Picture Weekly special will be out in June and is exactly the same format as the Egmont Classic Comics Roy of the Rovers special that was published on April 1st. It is £3.99.

The Best of Battle is a much-delayed book to be published by Titan.

If it's around a tenner as you said then it'll be the Best of Battle book. The Egmont Classic Comic Battle Picture Weekly edition out next month will be £3.99. Incidentally are you aware the comic will only be available from WH Smith?

Are we all looking forward to the 'Battle comic' out hopefully soon.

Anyone know the date it's out this month?

Who will be the first person on here to buy it?

Wow isn't it exciting.
