Shame you guys couldn't have given me these kind of answers for my slightly similar questionairre! ha ha only joking! I think something SCI-FI like Red Dwarf as there are plenty of areas to explore in SCI FI (I don't know if there has been a red dwarf comic I've seen one online but it was a while ago) although seeing more of Life on Mars would be fantastic!

Steve, Red Dwarf has indeed already appeared in a comic the "The Red Dwarf Magazine " launched in 1992 by Fleetway Editions it ceased publication in 1994. I only picked up 2 issues (loved the tv series but was never a fan of TV series adapted for comics for some reason - think of all the Gerry Anderson classics Ive missed) anyway the book contained a mix Red Dwarf news items, reviews, interviews, comic strips and competitions. The comic strips featured a variety of characters - I seem to remember one featuring the mad version of Rimmer from the TV episode when Rimmer got a virus and put the "Dwarfers" in confinment he dressed as a woman with a pengiun puppet doll (funny on TV less so in the comic) - It laso featured Ace Rimmer etc - I heard the comic was actually pretty good so I think I picked up the 2 less accomplished issues.
