I am virtually certain the comic did have a second set of `ads` for either its 1967 or 1969 re-launches! 1967 and 69 were far and away, the biggest overhauls in the comics history and I just wish my memory could recall if it was the 67, 69 or even both! Strange as many, many UK Telly ads survive-including the first ever ad which was `Colgate` toothpaste.

I do recall in one of Victor Lewis-Smith's `TV Offal` series an old UK comic ad was used by Lewis-Smith doing a pretty disgusting voice over to make it very unsavoury indeed! Anyone recall that?

Leo Baxendale, in his autobiography, talks about attending a private viewing for the TV ad for Wham! (Or was it Smash?) The ad animated the Barmy Army charging against the bad guys. The ad company had animated the wrong army, but Baxendale never let on.
