I thought that Chris McGhie drew The Three Bears in 2002 (after Mike Pearse), and Tom Plant drew the short-lived Ricky Grainger in 2003. I'm pretty sure about the latter without checking, because I remember he once signed his work. However, they are new to the Dandy I think, and they're definitely still relatively new artists.

Jamie Smart also came into the Dandy first (not that he hadn't done anything before that), Pete Player, Dan Gaynor and Hunt Emerson (long before he appeared in Beano). much more experimental, Dandy, when it comes to artists.
