Interesting looking through the specials pages. I notice on the Buster page there are 2 holiday specials listed for 1984, but i have another 1984 one here (it's a Buster & Monster Fun). Did they really release 3 Buster Holiday Specials in one year?

Can you scan the cover please? The Buster and Monster Fun ones seem to be separate to the other Buster ones (it happened in 1986 as well), and it's possible that those two 1984 Buster Holiday Specials were just different covers with the same content.

As far as I can remember, Buster and Monster Fun specials were very much an annual affair until at least 1988.

Andy it would be interesting to see if jakob1978 Buster is 1983 or 1984.

The two 1984 Buster Specials both have a 55p price on them.

The specials page has 1983's B&MF special listed, but not the solo Buster one. Jakob said his is a B&MF, so it's probably the 1984 one.

If one of the 1984 specials listed is actually 1983, then several earlier ones are probably also listed with the wrong years, judging by the prices and the fact nothing is listed for 1976.

It's definitly 1984, the price is the same as the other 2 1984 Busters (the price changed every year in the early 80's), and it has a copyright date of 1984. Here's the cover

I reckon theirs Buster and Buster Monster fun specials going right back to the 1970's we just have discovered them yet.

O_O I swear i used to have that! Probably not in it's actual year of publication though as i couldn't read then. Must have got it in a second hand shop or car boot sale or something. Wish i still had it now!
