In a deserted ghost town they discover a runaway stage coach which is stopped by a young rider who leaves hastily when the sherrifs' party arrives, leaving Simon and Liz to be taken to jail.

After watching a science fiction film, Liz Skinner and Simon Randall pass through the invisible time barrier and reach a planet resembling Earth but with frightening differences.
In a derelict tube station an unknown aid helps them escape from uncanny beings known as Oberoids who are 8 foot tall and carry canes that shoot rays.

Since this post you have provided excellent information on other strips and therefore I now believe that you are right about this.
Before I edit ,did, in your opinion, Felix draw the rest of the strips from this point?

Now it is a desolate giant manor house which houses a ghost hound, a monk and German spies.

Passing through the time barrier, Liz Skinner and Simon Randall arrive on an unknown planet policed by the forces of a tyrant known as "The Enforcer".
We have come to the point in the strip where even Simon annoying Liz by his interest in space travel is enough to cause a time slip and it's no longer about time, it's travel across the universe as well scenario.
I absolutely love that the creators of this strip have taken the basic concept of the one season television show and broken all the rules and run wild with it!
The art is not dissimilar to Century TV21.
Absolutely excellent.
