Nigel Parkinson should be a cliffhanger writer! How can he reveal so much but so little all at the same time! The Editor isn't spilling the beans either. He told me a few weeks ago that everybody would like what they're doing. As in, EVERYBODY. I don't know if that included comicsuk, mind!

But also that it was a secret, and I'd have to wait.

It would be good if he came on here like Euan Kerr used to, but he said once he wasn't sure it was a good idea.

The logo is cool....look forward to seeing the cover..
Great its weekly again!!

Seems like there is lots of new characters starting rather than old characters coming back..

I do like the logo, very clean and striking but it does look a bit like a sweetie/candy bar wrapper- again perhaps a good ploy for the kiddies to pick it up.

"almost entirely comic strips"
Well it'll have things like competitions and reader submissions pages I assume, but so does The Beano. And of course adverts... still, the Xtreme element seems to be completely eliminated, and won't be missed. Now I wonder what will be on the cover...

If that is the logo then it's completely different to the one I saw a few weeks back. We'll soon find out...

That's not the new logo.

Edit: The new logo is a squillion times better than that.

Actually,

I'm not a negative chap usually but If I'm honest.... I hope it's not (I don't really like it  )

But on a lighter note..... I can honestly say I haven't been this excited about a comic since I was a young lad. Always used to get excited when a new comic was launched...

Probably very sad but my wife said I was talking in my sleep the other night about the new Dandy...

Do I need help? :?:

That's brilliant. Even your Numskulls are excited. :)

There IS something exciting about this time of the year and comics. I seem to recall several new comics/free gift issues/boom issues from around October when I was a kid. Running up to the corner shop in the dark, fueled by adrenalin, hoping to buy the comic that had just been advertised on tv. (Spring and Autumn were always considered ideal times to launch comics.) Then the elation of seeing the comic itself, and the discovery of new characters...

It'll be like that again. :)

Nope. It's a brand new character.

Re: the logo. Nigel didn't actually say it was the logo did he? We jumped to conclusions.
