Sad news, former Bradford, Wolves, Southampton and Spurs defender Dean Richards died last night after a long illness. He was only aged 36.

He was diagnosed with an inner ear infection but surely it couldn't have been that.

Sounds like a brain tumour to me.

I agree. Sounds familiar - that's how my Dad died. RIP Dean. It's always a shame when people die before their time.

He had a test for a brain tumour but was given the all clear, but it now says
"it was believed he was battling cancer"
