I got hold of a copy today. It's still like `Extreme` in some strips which hasn't impressed me, but i'm not who they are really trying to sell to as I said.

I wish it all the best, but I have my doubts on its longevity. In six months I reckon will be make or break.

Pessimist. But you're right, there does need to be a circulation improvement shown on the next two sets of ABC figures (the next set would include the last few Xtremes, so the one after is the important one). How often do those come out?

Mine was waiting for me in the post when I got home tonight and it is as good as last week's.

Dan, Bananaman and Korky are in it.

Harry Hill was good too.

:D

I'm sorry that you feel like that. I just hope that the kids like it as much as the majority of the 'dults in this thread. :xfingers:

Loving the Dandy still, and I've just solved a bit of deja vu. I love the quarter page strips, and I love the Noel Edmonds gags. And I was sure I'd seen something similar somewhere before. And, lo, I finally find in my collection a copy of Gag comic from 1992 featuring quarter page strips, one of them starring Noel Edmonds, and one drawn by Lew Stringer...

The Dandy is much funnier!

Crikey Kev, I'd completely forgotten I'd drawn that one-off strip. I even skimmed past it looking for the one you said I'd drawn until I realized The Garlics was it!

Now I know how those actors feel who can't remember some of the roles they've played!

Likewise I'd forgotten the, mostly dreadful, scripts I littered these comics with, and that artists like Lew were kind enough, or desperate enough, to draw. Fresh Prince of Bell End was the best of the bunch, so you can imagine quote how low in the barrel we scraped. (Don't worry Lew, I won't be uploading The Sperms, or Dicken Fanny the Hilarious Hermaphrodite, you're safe!)

Two more strips I'd banished from my mind, unintentionally I assure you.

It was all welcome work Kev and fun to work with you.
