Quite a selection of annuals at the various charity shops in Dunfermline yesterday. Got a couple of Warlords, a Hotspur and a Beezer.

Yeah, for some reason Tales from the Tardis is listed on Titan's website under the one-shots category - even though there's at least three issues.

The lack of subs might just be that Titan are seeing how the first few issues sell before they make a subscription available. I think it's a shame more newsagents don't stock the Panini and Titan comics as they sell well in Smiths.

Thinking about it, I am not sure how Tales from the TARDIS will continue long term since it is relying on stories from a limited series (9th Doctor). Even if they then used the 8th Doctor, his series is also finite and so would eventually leave only the 10th Doctor. Presumably TFTT would then fold and the 10th Doctor would go back to Doctor Who Comic?

What would be great is for Titan to create another larger UK comic featuring stories from their limited series US mags (e.g. Johnny Red, Surface Tension). Anyway, I would definitely buy that.

The Ninth Doctor is an ongoing comic now, and they also have a Fourth Doctor comic coming out soon so there's enough material to support two Titan newsstand DW comics. Perhaps they have more planned too, for the other Doctors, at a guess.

Issue 3 is another 100 pager, which I expect to close out the current Ninth and Tenth Doctor stories (if I'm right, it'll be 9D 5, 10D 13, 14 and 15). Theoretically, Issue 4 would be 8D 1, and 10th Doctor Year 2 1 and 2. The Tenth Doctor would go down to one a month once the Ninth Doctor's ongoing starts. They should never totally catch up, as there's 15 issues for each Doctor in the comic shop editions, and 13 a year for the newsstand editions. That's probably why 12D 11 got skipped over - they can always run it as filler later, if they catch up on the 11th Doctor's stories and so can't double him up in an issue.

The twelfth Doctor ran to 16 issues, with No.16 being the Christmas issue.
