Back to the 1950s now with more Dan Dare tat/merchandise - this time i's the 'Dan Dare interplanetary dominoes' set. As ever the packaging is more impressive than the contents.

Here's some more vintage Dan Dare merchandise...the contents of the box actually look really good this time, but the rules of the game are very simple.

Another wonderful piece of Dan Dare history....
I think the art on these bizzare artefacts that you find are worth the purchase price alone.
If I was a rich man I would be snapping all of these crazy fifties/sixties merchandise up !
Lovely to see Richard.

Is this the most important piece of Dan Dare tat/merchandise produced? I think so! The history included is not found anywhere else. Rare!

More Eagle/Dan Dare themed vintage transfers for us all to look out for. I had some of these in an annual once but I've never seen them in their original condition.

More original 1950s Dan Dare merchandise - today it's the turn of this box set of 'unbreakable plastic figures'. However, given the price the seller was after, I reckon this was just marketing puff and that these were pretty breakable! Nice item.

As you say though, they obviously weren't unbreakable or many more would still exist and the price would be far lower.

More paperwork relating to the Dan Dare CGI series that aired on channel 5 in the early 2000's has recently come to light so I've added it to my post about the show. Thanks to John Freeman for spotting this.
