Oh, that really is a thing of beauty. And now I am going to be really cheeky and ask if you can do a picture of the copyright statement?

The reason being is that GMS morphed into Micron Publications a few years later and I am intrigued to find what their original stated address was. I can even return the favour with this one from the Combat Picture Annual which is from 1961.

Really pleased with my haul this week as I had some free time last weekend to do a bit of searching all over the web and today's delivery from Pat the postie (yes that's his name) had me feeling like a kid at Christmas although the letters were smaller than usual as it seems to have been Pocket/Picture Library week

This week I've bought:

Pocket Detective Library #1, The Big Snatch by Top Sellers/T&P - 1971
Pocket Western Library #1, The The Lost Expedition by Top Sellers/T&P - 1971
Wild West Picture Library #1, Gun Rule by IPC - 1963
Sabre Western Picture Library #1 & #2, A Time to Fight and The Broken Lance by Sabre - 1971
Sabre Thriller Picture Library #1 & #2, Night of the Vulture and Guilt is my Shadow by Sabre - 1971
Valiant Story of the West #1 by Fleetway - 1963

I also picked up the Soccer '68 posters that came with Jag #2 and #3 in excellent condition, an Action Summer special and last night won Lion #1 from 1952 on Ebay which I've been after for ages. Can't wait for that to arrive!

Are you sure about the 1963 date on Wild West Picture Library #1 Adam? I have it listed as 1966.

You're 100% right Phil, I stand corrected. I was using the GCD as a reference point and I've just checked the comic itself. Thanks!

Busy day

Strange Stories #1 by Spencer - 1960 - really happy to get this rare comic
8 x early Hornet comics including #4 which I was after
Forces in Combat #1 with free gift from 1980 - I just thought it looked interesting!
19 pre ban Action comics BiN on Ebay for £20 as #3 was in the set which I needed a copy of.
and finally issues 1-6 of Knockout from 1971 from Phil Shrimpton's auction

Managed a whole year of Warlord from 1976 from Phil's Auctions for £30. Not bad - less than 60p an issue... but some lucky so and so managed a whole year from 1975 for £5.99. That was a bargain :o

The new Suicide Squad comic from Titan.

But I already see that it is a limited series (of three).

Plenty of good reading there.

Great finds Koollectablz. I can't help feeling they'd have fetched a lot more on Ebay!
