Hee Hee!", with Noel Edmond's head floating in space, "very exciting" and "hilarious", I honestly think Wilbur would be more upset if the young lad (very young, I presume) found his material amusing.
Oh and by the way, y, there's a
huge tradition of horror material in kids' humour comics. There have been whole comics devoted to it, Monster Fun springs to mind, there are no doubt many others. Leo Baxendale did loads of wonderful horror stuff.
I think RHS is a great addition to the Dandy, and I'd love to see the Dandy
packed with the work of Wilbur Dawbarn, Alexander Matthews, Jamie Smart, Nigel Auchterlounie, and Andy Fanton.
Should that ever happen it might actually
be 100% funny.
Have you thought about trying any other comics. May I recommend "Peppa Pig"?

I'd be very surprised if there are specific
lettering staff for just three comics these days Digi. (Or 2 and a bit comics, considering The Dandy is mostly lettered by the artists.) I presume the designers do the lettering along with the other tasks they perform. Asking us to do it gives them a bit more time to spend on their other work.

This is a wind-up, isn't it? Is this some sort of joke you play on newbies? Y, it's a joke my kids came home from the playground with when they were 4. I probably came home from the playground with it when I was 4. And my father before me. Are you really telling me you've never heard it before??
Mind you, I'll give you this much, if you are 4, you're doing a great job on the typing.

I forgot about Monster Fun/Shiver and Shake but where comic strips in those comics really scary? Some of them are "Percy the Peace-maker" and "Lolly Pop" which dont sound very scary! And Ginger, dont call me Y! Also, i never said i hadnt heard of that joke, i just said it was funny! That's all! And i am definitely not 4, i'm older than that! Also, i'm a newbie myself, i only logged in first four days ago!

Nuke Noodle isnt a particular favourite of mine either, and i think thats' because of the dull background and looking too boring. However, when i read it again, it seems funny!

I think it's another great strip. I also really like Alexander Matthews' other strip Robot on the Run, The Etherington Brothers' Yore, and The Bogies.

I have many favourites. One which I loved was Robot on the Run which is funnier in my opinion than Nuke Noodle but both are fantastic! Sadly Robot on the Run, despite being very popular with older readers, absolutely bombed in the poll!

Robot on the Run i never got into. I dont find the Bogies as funny as other people do, maybe the warmth is taken off it by the fact they're a company, not a strip.

I'll tell you my favourites: Postman Prat, Boo!, Rocky O'flair, Are you ready for the question, Noel? There's other good ones in there but those are the best.

Why would anyone not be happy someone found his strip funny?
