OK, what's going on? Yesterday, they said on Facebook that issue 1 would be out "tomorrow evening". But looking at dandy.com, it's not there. :(

EDIT: The Issues page appears to have been updated, but I can't log in.

Good news and bad news. Issue 1 is up - but I can't log in and CAN read it! So the log in and payment systems are down. It's been given a menu, which is an improvement I wanted, and it's smaller, so it no longer goes off the edge of the page in low screen resolutions.

Hammie 2 and 4, and Desperate Dan, weren't shrunk and so cannot be navigated.

EDIT: fixed grammar.

It is an improvement..it can only get better..

Though my computer couldn't load the puzzles very well...
there should be a skip button to move on...

Is the puzzles the last bit of the numbskulls and Brassneck or is there more to see...
my computer kept going very slow....
the puzzle for the numbskulls ironically was very small to see...

There's more after the puzzle - both in fact have their puzzles before issue zero's end points. The Simon one in Brassneck does have a skip button.

the problems have been fixed, however, you can no longer just read the comic. If you wish to read the issue , you must use your Dandy Credits (provided of course you have already registered)

the problem with the out of scale pages (Dan. etc.) have still not been fixed).

I have now bought the next five issues (with the plan of buying more issues in the new year)

What you need to do to register is to create a username and a password, date of birth and so on, then to get the remainder of your subscription, go to the My Account page, and underneath the purchase points page, you will see the following text
the Dandy website wrote:Already have a print subscription - enter your subscription number below!!
below that, you will then need to enter your Dandy subscription number, and the remaining issues on your print subscription will be added to your points.

Dan has a game too, was you able to see part 2 of it, or did that game get in the way?

Judging from the Facebook page, it seems like iPad users aren't pleased. Issue zero came out four days late (December 8 instead of 4), issue one hasn't shown up, and the app is apparently gone from iTunes App Store.

Also, it seems dandy.com's designers forgot to include Twitter and Facebook links, that'll also need fixing ASAP.

Issue #2 is out.
Image

EDIT: Retro Active's line up is identified as Kat and Val's superhero names aren't mentioned, Cobra's "King" prefix and all three men's real names are also not used.

EDIT2: I think an unseen sixth member is Black Hawk, because the team ship is called The Hoverer, which matches his.

EDIT3: Figured out Val - her name was shortened and she lacks a hero name. It's Valda, from Mandy.

The only Kat I can think of is Billy the Cat's cousin and sidekick Katie, but she was white and used gadgets and this one is black and seems to actually have cat powers, including claws.

So now that there have been two issues of the digital version, what is the verdict?

Although I have cancelled my subscription, I just found that I have 100 Dandy points and enough to buy an issue so will do that tomorrow.

Working better for me so far...hopefully all games will be put in the game section and not in the middle of the strip..

Who are the artists for Desperate Dan, Brassneck and Bananman they are all looking really good and love how the stories continue each week..

I like how Dan is over the top and the bear wanting to eat the waitor!!

So I'm sure we'll see dog numbskulls next time..it did go slow again on the game But it went on to the next section..
