Yeah, he also bought me some art too in the past when I was a bit short of cash. Great bother. Can't praise him enough.

Just sourced a Scream magazine from 1985 that I needed to complete my second run of 1 to 15 comics + 5 specials. A little pricey but happy still the same. Will upload a pic asap.

I bought a couple interesting comics recently.
Issue 440 of the Beano, the christmas 1950 issue.
I got it and the next issue too, 441.
441 is the issue where Lord Snooty's original gang gets partially replaced by a load of old Beano characters.
I also have a damaged copy of issue 440, missing the Lord Snooty page, which I might frame and turn in to a christmas decoration.
I also picked up a Gerald Swan annual from the 1950s. I've never seen one in "the wild" before and my copy was missing pages but it was interesting nonetheless (and I got it for free so can't complain

)
I need to give the Gerald Swan annual a full read, but the Beanos I read as soon as they arrived in the post. It feels like Dudley Watkins drew half the Beano back in 1950, with Biffo, Lord Snooty and Jimmy and his Magic Patch all drawn by him.

Thanks TCT. Yeah, isn't it just. Cost me a pretty penny too. Nice condition though.
