Here it is. My Buster comic dated 30th October 1993. I bought it as said to compliment my signed "Tom Thug's Halloween" art recently sourced from the cartoonist Lew Stringer. Check out the link below. :)

Just arrived this morning 32 no Buster comics from 1977 in VG/FN condition, all bagged and boarded.

This brings my Buster comic total to 607 (1960 - 1981)

Not comics but on Tuesday at Kempton Park Antiques Fair I picked up 66 issues of Soccer Star weekly magazine dated between 1956 and 1962 for £22. Seller wanted £1 for three issues. I put the £22 in his hand before he could say "just give me £20" as they were bargain enough. I also got four 60s dc comics, two House Of Secrets, one Worlds Finest and one Justice League plus a really nice Trend pop magazine from 1967, £20 the lot.

DESPITE my previous posts stating that I believed that charity shops were no longer viable for comic collectors,I stand happily corrected.
Found a wonderful charity second hand book shop today that had a lot of interest.
Will be returning but for today I got "Wonder Woman the War Years book" for a fiver, excellent condition and already have the Bat and Supes ones so great to complete the trilogy.
These volumes are huge hardback A4 with many reprints of golden age classics.
All brilliant.
What I found surprising while browsing through tonight is that WWs' first strip (All Star Comics 8,1941) is so similar to eps 1 of the tv series that I got on DVD last year.I hadn't realised the accuracy of the first ep of series 1 to the actual origin story.

Been buying from E Bay recently - with trepidation, but now worth biting the bullet - got a 1969 June (I'm now only 1 edition short to complete all of 1969's), 1969 Princess Tinas (filling gaps in collection), plus a few 1966 Dianas. Plus 2 1970 editions of the "Radio Times". All arrived safely.

On Saturday I went to Manchester Comic Fair, coming away with a record haul for this festival. About 30 editions of "Look-In", mostly from 1979-80, with a few 1975 and 1977, plus 2 1974 Beezers, along with a 1968 "Radio Times", 3 editions of "Prime Time" TV nostalgia magazine (one listed all BBC children's drama serials from 1950s to late 70s - the nostalgia of being reminded of these!) and a book on cult series "Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)". Took myself right over budget doing this, am fretting a little of my overspending, but hey, this will feel worth it for the enjoyment that comics give!

In Deptford flea market I picked up two miniature booklets of Detective Comics covers covering 25 years each (issues 1 to 600). When I asked how much they were he just said pay me what you like, I said I can't, how much are they? Again he said pay me what you like and said he'd turn his back and hold his hand out behind him. I decided to put four pound coins in his hand which he shot straight into his satchel. One of the booklets had an old $114 price plabel on the back so I figured I'd got a bargain.

I also have both of these pocket cover gallery books Steve.
I can't remember what I paid for them and was back in the 90s but I think about £7 each. Not sure.
No idea if they are worth anything these days.
They are lovely books though and feature complete covers of every issue up until 600.
