:soapbox: Bit of an advertisement (hope you don't mind) but for anybody interested in Nipper comic, IPC's short-lived pocket comic from the late 1980's, I've written an online book called The Nipper Index - a history book on the comic. It also features a complete list of all the strips that appeared in it. As this is the first title under the new 'Novo Media' name, it's completely free! Check it out here:

Good work, George. Nipper wasn't a comic I followed other than its first issue and the revamped issue but it's interesting to read about it.

By the way, the sudden change to standard size with issue 6 wasn't just because it was being lost on the shelves but also because kids were nicking it due to it's small size. Nipper was a bit of a disaster unfortunately.

I've not discovered how to download from Issuu but have solved this problem by downloading the ALL WORLD MAGAZINES app by Ivan Ivanenko. This is a free app from playstore that I use on my samsung galaxy tab and it features all the magazines from Issuu and also includes a search tab.I make a note of the name from Issuu and search for it on this app and then you can download it onto their offline reading library list where it can be printed or shared if you want to.I find this useful for downloading lots of magazines from Issuu to this offline library where it gives me plenty of reading material on holiday when there is no wi fi connection available. With the A.W.M. app there is under each magazine cover thumbnail a small star one side and three dots the other, clicking on the small star and the magazine is set aside for reading whenever you want to, clicking on the three dots and then the offline tab and the magazine downloads for offline reading, Simple! and yes Nipper Index can be found using the search tab.

By the way on Issuu they have DR WHO VORTEX THE BIG 50Th a 92 page book profiling all the early dr who actors. There are plenty of comics to be found on this app also ,that is if you have patience to try different searches.
