Hi everyone, my name's Jon (tempting to put "and I'm an alcoholic" after this ,sorry .No I'm not honestly) :D
Joined this week so just getting to grips with the site.I am a long time childrens book and comic seller with an interest in british comics.I do collect aswell as hoard various titles,my main interest is free gifts and comics that go with them also Newsagents adverts or posters /signs adertising comics (though these are really quite rare!)
Hopefully I hae attached a couple of obscure items that arent already pictured on this site
Flame number 1 from AUG 24 1935 (ok it's not strictly a comic but has John Leng/ DC Thomson interest)
Also No.1 of Pop Pic Library (A Big Ben Library by Wells Gardner) pocket size library but not dated
Well that seems enough for an introduction
regards all comic fans
Jon

Hi Jon - welcome to the forum. Thanks for posting those interesting pics, neither of which I know anything about, but learning new stuff is what makes the forum fun.

Looking forward to seeing more contributions from you.

Thanks, Like your cheeky badge ,I have one somewhere , I'm old enough to have bought Krazy and Cheeky from No.1 but also interested in a lot earlier stuff back to the 1920s and 30s aswell as 60s ,70s :P
I have been adding some more pics to the gallery this week.
