Buster/Monster Fun/Quackers Comic Art (various artists)

Recently I bought some nice pages of Buster/Monster Fun comic, including a page of Quackers comic art. The first page is a Christmas strip by Mike Lacey, from the classic " X-Ray Specs", the date it was published is unknown sadly, possibly early 1980s? The second, is a page of classic, "Freaky Farm", art by Jim Watson, and finally, a page of "Boxatrix" artwork from the short-lived comic, Quackers, which ran between 1997-1999, by the cartoonist, Brian Walker.

not come across "Quakers" comic before - do you know much about it?

To be honest Richard.S, I too wasn't really familiar with the comic around that time in the late 90s, especially seeing I bought many comics from my young 3 year old niece at my local newsagent. What I gather is, the Quackers comic was given away as gift in the children's monthly puzzle magazine Quiz Kids from 1997 to 1999. As said, it was short-lived comic lasting only 25 issues. I like the strip though. It'll be straight forward locating the magazine, he says naively.
