Hello all

avid collector over many years and was just wondering my son sent me an Comic Annual I have'nt heard of anyone help??

Scramble Annual 1950 3/6d by Gerald G Swan Ltd.

Yep thats the one, only mine has a football scene on the front

curious I'll have to find the history of it now

Apparently not a lot of info about this Comic, G.G.Swan Ltd also printed this little lot as well but i've not heard of any of these

Scramble was a story paper, as opposed to a comic, produced by Gerald Swan between Mar 1947 and Mar 1951. It ran to 57 issues, first published monthly and then weekly and spawned four annuals 1948-1951 ( This was unusual as the norm was for Swan to call his yearly hardback issues 'albums').
