Comic Book resources does have some decent columns and blogs - 'One Fan's Opinion' is always worth a read (found by clicking Columns) - but the site is of course strongly geared towards US comics, especially the superhero titles, rather than British ones.

It doesn't really matter what the country of origin a comic has as long as it's enjoyable. Besides, many UK creators work on American comics so even if some fans are staunchly pro-British creators (though I hope they're a bit more flexible than that) they might still be interested in some of the news items on that website.

Well said Lew - I'm sometimes a bit suprised that some fans of UK comics seem to totally ignore a lot of UK comics by UK creators produced here in Britain but via the direct market in the "US format" - Markosia comics etc we produce some nice home made books for the international market, and of course all the UK creators producing some excellent US comics, not all superheroes (from Jack Staff the most UK character at the moment to Jamie Smarts work with Slave Labor comics in his Dandy/Beano style) UK comics have different avenues now not just via Newsagents - even Lew himeslef has a strip in a US comic (sorry shamefully I can't recall its name but good Brickman stuff only seen a copy my mate had)

Much of Comic Book Resources does tend to be firmly focused around Marvel and DC superheroes though, and I presume that's why the site won't draw too rave a response from many round these here parts (so don't be too disappointed, Knowsnowt!)
