Yep that's on my Amazon list, looks good, Great review Lew from someone who isn't to keen on football  But by the looks of it it looks more then that.

Another Football book is out as well.

£12.99 isn't too bad for a 120 page hardback book with colour, compared to most hardback novels or other non-comics reference books. Go for the cheaper option if you can though of course! :) I believe it'll be available to buy this coming week.

A while back on this forum we had a discussion about Titan books and I said I thought the cost to scan & print b&w comics in colour, to preserve fine lines, would be too prohibitive. This Roy of the Rovers book proves me wrong!

Personally I'd now like to see all their Egmont / IPC reprints done this way. The slicker paper stock of The Steel Claw volume was wasted as the reprints didn't reproduce that well. Doing it the RotR way would have preserved the finer ink lines and given the public a chunkier and more appealing book. Obviously though it's all down to costs, and I imagine the print run of Bumper Book of RotR is higher than that of the Steel Claw one because "Roy" is much better known by the public at large, so the unit cost may be lower than the Claw book.
