'Fun and Games'??

Hi,

Can anyone tell me about the IPC/Fleetway reprint comic 'Fun and Games' at all?

I was unaware of its existance until recently when I picked up the first issue (dated 25th March 1989), and featured the usual IPC reprints from Buster, W & C, but also included a new strip from Tom Paterson.

If anyone knows how long it lasted for it would be appreciated.

Fun & Games wasn't a Fleetway comic, but did have the rights to reprint some Fleetway/IPC strips (on a one-use basis I imagine).

I forget who the publisher was now, sorry.

But the editor was Bob Paynter, who had previously been Group Editor of IPC's humour comics for many years (and was the first editor of Whizzer & Chips).

I don't know how may issues it ran for. Not many.
