Scrapper artists

Post by toxteth o'grady »

Easy one for you guys - can you identify the artists that drew these Scrapper strips in Cracker? I guess the top one is Tom Lavery, but not sure about the lower one.

I thought Lavery was the only artist ever to draw Scrapper? Both strips look like his work, either that or a very accurate ghost artist.

I read all the Scrapper strips in one go.Up to issue 58 they are all in the style of the top example. There were several in the style of the bottom one (which also has a different format at 5 rows), which instantly looked different and I assumed they were by a different artist. Shows how much I know and why I had to ask.

Thanks Digi and Andy for your replies.

I remember seeing the second one in Classics several years ago. Both are Tom Lavery's work, it's clearly his work.
